After travelers have soaked in the splendor of the mighty Niagara Falls, they can enjoy a couple of tasty options—one new and one old—during their exploration of Niagara’s Canadian side.

The area is home to a number of sugar bush groves, making maple syrup production a big thing for the locals. Learning more about that process is a sweet deal for visitors, and one spot where they can do that is Maple Leaf Place, which features a mix of attractions, shops, and restaurants.

At Maple Leaf Place they have taken the sugar bushes inside, so the experience is available regardless of the weather. In addition to taking tours along the Maple Trail for tastings and finding out how syrup is produced and bottled, guests can see the crystal tree sculpture and the First Nations crafts area that showcases the art of the Haida people.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary in Niagara Falls in 2019, the Oh Canada Eh! Dinner Show combines a multi-course meal with a performance of the troupe’s long-running musical. The beloved show takes a good-natured look at many aspects of Canadian life and culture.

After patrons enjoy some Canadian fare, served by the actors, they are treated to a tour de farce of Canadian history—singing mounties, a hockey player, Anne of Green Gables, and more. The interactive musical runs from April to October, then other themed shows are staged from November through early April.
